Cancer

A friend has cancer.  It's advanced.  She is too young and has too much to accomplish in life.  She has kids, too.

I hate cancer.  It is devastating.

You would think we could solve its mystery.

I know diet has something to do with it.  Eating the decaying flesh of another sentient being (most know this as barbecue).  Not eating enough veggies.  Knocking off the coffee...drinking green tea.  No soda, more water.  That sort of thing.

I'm hurting for my friend and her family.  Praying that God would give her a big break.  And thinking about how I should live my life.

It's the only life I get.
