I made a decision today that affected the lives of others. And I did it in order to help.
Some have questioned that decision. That's okay...it wasn't their decision to make. It's always easier to criticize than to weigh through the merits of a matter and render judgment.
When I offered my decision, the dad wept. His heart was broken for his child. He had desperately longed for such a decision. He needed a break. He needed empathy.
In the last couple of days, I have experienced God in very real ways. I know He was with me in moments when I most needed Him.
I also know that God can solve dilemmas without me. I find it a privilege to be used by Him. To be a voice of hope, when hope is needed. To be that person who can take the path less traveled, when such a path is warranted.
Got a tough decision to make? Pray and then act on it as you would expect God to lead you.
