Imagine that instantaneously millions, if not billions, of people suddenly vanish. There is no warning and no plausible explanation. People are just gone. Perhaps a best friend or a sibling or a parent...gone. And you are left to figure things out on your own.
Over the next days and weeks you witness catastrophic events on the world stage. Wars. Death. Realignment of power. Fear.
And you have no place to turn. You are alone.
